Baby Love in Georgia

with two of my favorite things in this world: a baby & a cup of coffee
I love babies. or adore them. or something like that.
some day {Lord willing} I'm gonna have a whole houseful of my own.
but in the meantime, I'm having a ball loving on other people's. =)
I really miss the little people at my church, and can hardly wait to get home and see how much they have all grown up while I've been gone.
But while I'm on tour, its been pretty special getting to meet new little babies that our friends have had lately.
after he woke up I had to take a few pictures, even though he was leaning up against my knees and the angle wasn't so great.
what a charmer. that double chin just gets me. =)

    2. wait...but how will you come photograph my babies when you know you're gonna have a whole houseful of your own? =)
      I can just see this,
"photographer moms and their kiddos get together...not for a play date, but for a big blown out photoshoot".

    1. I totally agree with you on wanting to be a mom someday! (and you Chelsy)(: I can't wait as well. Today though I find many young women who don't wish to be mothers someday and think it very sad, because I believe it's what God designed women to be.
Chelsy, I to ADORE babies. I can hardly put them down sometimes!(:

Do you have any suggestions how I can get surface-deep conversations deeper? I seem to have trouble with this :(
    Anything will help =D

    1. Hi Tiffani,
Good question! First, I would say to pray about it. Ask the Lord for wisdom in guiding you in asking the right questions and steering conversations toward "edifying" waters!
Ask questions! Ask someone "what is the Lord doing in your life? what good books have you read/movies have you watched lately? what did you learn from them?" So much of being a good conversationalist and having deep conversations is just knowing how to ask the right questions. If you talk about the weather and shopping and clothes (not that these things are bad-I'm just trying to make a point here) then that is often what your conversations will be limited to.
This is getting me thinking here...I might do a post about this subject sometime. =)

Thanks for asking; hope this helps!
