Yay! Today is the big day for the Vlog!!
I really still can't believe we actually did this! And to think we made it through the whole thing on the first take. I am still shocked about that.

Just a little disclaimer here: Please disregard any element of ridiculousness. I am completely not used to videoing myself and it was more challenging than I thought it would be. Certain elements of what we talked about were serious, but I feel like I came across like a giddy thirteen year old. {which, hey, I am. At heart}
So this was take one, and who knows?
Maybe Hannah & I have discovered our true life calling producing Vlogs will be back with another one sometime?
As always..would love to hear your comments!
(not on the outfits, either...have NO IDEA why I added that part at the end!)
- Chels
FUN girls !!!! You NEED to do it again ....AND AGAIN!!! Such good tips and sweet spirits! Love you , Chels, want to meet you, Hannah! :O)
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the vlog! It was really good.:) Thank-you so much for doing it even if it was scary. Y'all did a great job! And hopefully you will do another vlog soon..:)
ReplyDelete-Janelle
Y'all need to do this again! You both did very well, considering the fact that you were in front of a camera (somehow that makes people get nervous =))
ReplyDeleteP.S. liked the outfits =)
This was SO much fun Chelsy!!! I LOVED it! You should definitely do another one! <3 you girl, Mary
ReplyDeleteLOVED watching this, Chelsy!! It was neat to hear y'all's voices! ;) Thanks for putting this together! It was helpful. Wow! Those mugs though!! And yes, your outfits are cute!! :)
ReplyDeleteI have to say, the coffee mugs are HUGE. Seriously! Do they hold a quart?! :) This was fun and I chuckled at the giddy 13 year old more than once. No, seriously, you did not act like a giddy 13 year old. Not really. Your outfits were smashing, by the way.;)
ReplyDeletenot quite a quart. maybe more like a very generous pint? =) They are huge though for sure.
Deletewell...you know my 13yr old side anyway. =)
So fun! <3
ReplyDeleteThis video was really fun. :) I loved to hear your tips and advice. Thanks for being willing to do a VLOG, it'd be neat if you and Hannah did it again sometime in the future!
ReplyDeleteBtw, I just recently started a blog and would love it if you took a look at it -http://www.photography4jesus.blogspot.com/
Coming over from Hannah's blog and will definitely be your latest blog follower! :) I loved watching the vlog, it was so fun and you both seem like such sweet gals! Thanks for the time you put into it!
ReplyDeleteI LOOVE your personalities ;)
ReplyDeleteYou both are so beautiful ;)
This was so much fun! I really hope you do another one sometime. It was so good to hear your voice Chelsy! I was laughing with you in the video; whenever I try to drink out of a mug (or any sort of cup for that matter) I ALWAYS dump it on myself--or choke on it! I was beyond impressed that neither you or Hannah did that. :) Your comments on thrifting were very helpful to me--I literally JUST started going to thrift stores (I've been in maybe 5 stores once each) and since my mom doesn't enjoy this kind of shopping, I am learning to how to do it myself with sibling help and parent encouragement. Making time for siblings is also something I struggle with, and it is good to know that there are others out there that struggle, too.
ReplyDeleteIn Christ,
Hailey
P.S. Your outfits are adorable, by the way. :)
This was so much fun!!!! I have followed your family's blog also. It is neat to hear the voices behind the pictures! The outfits were awesome ; )
ReplyDeleteWe loved your Vlog! We vote ya'll should definitely do another one again! :-) Good advice from both of you...and we loved all the unplanned humorous statements throughout it (especially the part you added to the end, Chels!) ;-) Ha Ha Ha!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Forster Girls
(It was great to see you both and Allison last week! :-)
thanks...and it was awesome to see you ladies again too!!
DeleteI loved it!! Great Job :) It was very encouraging :)
ReplyDelete~Allison Geckler :)
fun vlog and the mugs just caught my eye! thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYou seriously did a FANTASTIC job!! Loved it all-especially the emphasis on quite time with the Lord and being a joyful testimony for Jesus as the ultimate goal. =) oh, btw, smashing outfits too !! =)

I figured you used those big, wide mugs to be sure not to spill. I tend to be clumsy and I try to place things just so.(and then I tell them to "stay", lol) Yes, please do more! I know you got lots more questions, and now that you've done it, next time will be easier. And I agree with the other comments; it's so good to hear the voices behind the words. I am also a firstborn, and your words on sibling relationships, well, it brought out interesting memories. My 3 siblings all live far away, and, I often wonder if we now have good relationships BECAUSE of that? I gotta ask, how does the bedroom thing work with you and your sisters, and brothers too? Do you share with all your sisters, just Allison, or are you able to have your own room? Do your brothers all share or have a couple rooms?
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, and now I'm inspired to go back to my own thrift stores; I tend to go to Wal-Mart and do ALL my shopping there; groceries, clothes, housewares, gifts; one-stop shop. But it's good to go there when I have a SPECIFIC clothing need.
More questions you can address can be how you interact with others in your age range; especially with guys; I'm sure there are lots of them. God bless you all
Chels, you do know that Maggie M and I will have quite the opportunities to perfect our wild imitations of your voice now, right?? That was a pretty crazy night! I think my voice was almost gone by the end of it. :] You guys are too much fun to tease. I'm sure Maggie agrees with me. :] We won't be able to come to the girl's retreat this Tuesday. I know... #sadday ;{ We'll have to get together again before you all start traipsing around the world again! :] mwah!
ReplyDeleteYou seriously did a FANTASTIC job!! Loved it all-especially the emphasis on quiet time with the Lord and being a joyful testimony for Jesus as the ultimate goal. =) oh, btw, smashing outfits too !! =)

What a fun vlog! You definitely have something good going there, I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love to see some more! Next time I'd love to see you remake a dress that you get while thrifting (kind of a how-to video maybe?).
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you two did this!! Love you both and was super blessed by it...thanks for enduring the awkwardness of doing a vlog for us. =)
