Happy July 4th!!

Popping in today from Plymouth, Massachusetts, to wish y'all a very red, white, and blue 4th of July! I love this holiday because of the freedom it stands for! Today is the first time in years that we've actually been in the states to celebrate this day and it has been such a special time.

The freedom we have in this land is because of what our country was founded upon; biblical principles that were used as the foundation for our constitution and the making of this grand old USA. God has blessed us so richly. May we never forget to thank Him for His goodness and grace. Even with losing so many of our freedoms and our country changing in so many ways, there are still so many things so be thankful for, the greatest of which is the only true freedom which is in JESUS alone.
"And I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free
And I won't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me
And I'd gladly stand up next to you and defend Her still today
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land...God bless the USA."
"Long may our land be bright, with freedom's holy light,
protect us by THY MIGHT, Great God our King."

God bless the USA + y'all enjoy your fireworks tonight!

  1. Did you listen to Pastor Brown's sermon from Sunday night? He spoke of the same thing. He also encouraged Christians to get involved in government to stem the tide of the anti God aspects of our current political system. I even made reference to our founders deep faith in our ABF class.
We have much to be thankful for but we have much to fight for too. I know I'm not done fighting in the arena of ideas and principles, and I know you and your family aren't either. Many blessings as your tour continues.
PS: The corn is huge. You can almost hear it growing.

  2. We had a family picnic & I shot off some fireworks & well 1 misfired & I had a very close call but came out OK. I didn't know I could jump so high.

  3. Hey, chelsy, this is Jennifer Ressler again. I was wondering if I could "hangout" with you on Hangouts sometime soon. by the way our email address is if you ever want to email.

    1. ok sorry. my email is actually -Jennifer

Right now I'm trying to juggle responsibilities and figure out how to work my other jobs and make time for getting this blog into more of a full-time thing. Prayers would be appreciated if you think of it!

    2. That's perfectly fine- I understand! :)
Will pray for you and your family... You are inspiring many people and making a difference!
