Maxwell baby #3 is set to join our clan in late September of this year and will be just 15 months in age behind Elliot. I'm at 20 weeks along and everything has been pretty typical thus far--sick as a dog when I'm sick, and feeling absolutely amazing when I'm not. =) The boys are little troopers even when I'm not feeling well and it's the days of morning sickness that I am doubly thankful for our already established routine! Elliot obviously doesn't get what is going on but Axton is much more clued in this time and it is really cute to watch him process. He loves to give pat pats to my tummy and talk about "baby Rex and new baby". (he has decided that "Rex" is much easier to say than "Elliot", so now he always calls Elliot "Rex", and since I refer to Elliot often then as "baby Rex", we had to come up with something new for, well, "new baby".)
(I know this picture is basically a duplicate of the top one but I just have to post it-look at Axton holding just Elliot's thumb. =) I didn't notice it before but John pointed it out to me and now I have to chuckle every time I see it!)
Photography credit goes to my sis in love who was so kind as to come over the other evening and get these pictures for us in our backyard. Thank-you, Sarah!
Outfit details: The boys' matching shirts I got in-store at Old Navy last winter for $1.47 each. (I was so excited =)) Elliot's shorts are Old Navy/clearance, Axton's are Cat & Jack/thrifted, and their sandals are these and these from Children's Place/clearance.
John's jeans are these/Silver brand in medium indigo, boots are Ariat brand, and tee is Eddie Bauer in Sable.
My sandals are these/Amazon, jeans are Liz Lange maternity brand/thrifted, and tee is Old Navy in Seafoam color.
Happy Weekend from our growing family of almost five! =)

There were definitely challenges at times when I had two "babies" but it's been such a blessing. Praying you experience the same!!

Deletecongrats!! So excited for you!! Can't wait for him or her to arrive!! Blessings!
ReplyDeleteHi there. Congratulations! So happy for you!!! Do you know the gender yet and if so, are you gonna share or keep it a secret.
ReplyDeleteWe do know the gender, but we won’t be posting online until baby arrives! ππ
DeleteCongratulations! I have one, and he is a real not easy to take care of. Are you doing ok so far Chelsy?
ReplyDeleteI am doing good, thankyou! I definitely have my share of morning sickness (it goes all the way to the end with me! π ) but overall I am very healthy and feel quite blessed. A lot of women have much harder pregnancies than I do.
DeleteI also think a good perspective and thankfulness plays a big part in good pregnancies, so there’s that! π
Thanks for asking!❤️
