Thankyou all so much for joining us in prayer last night. God heard and answered and PTL the X-rays thus far have showed that the second tube has been successful in clearing air. She still needs so much prayer---the first tube was initially successful also so this definitely is not an instant or one time fix type thing. But we are praising the Lord for every little step of progress and are thankful for the praises of the hour! Also they are preparing to try taking her off the ventilator and moving back to the CPAP in another attempt to help her lungs heal and strengthen. So please pray with us that that goes well and is successful.
We were blown away by the incredible prayer response last night from you all---friends, family, and total strangers from around the world, all joining us to intercede for our baby. Your comments and messages to tell us you are praying mean more than we can say. Truly we can never convey how thankful we are. We praise the Lord for each of YOU. ❤️
Have been and will continue praying for you all!!

ReplyDeleteHang in there! I was a preemie smaller than that 40-odd years ago and needed pneumothorax tubes on both sides. That was scary for my family - but I had no long term effects from the tubes besides very tiny scars on my chest.
ReplyDeleteMy son was born at 26 weeks after rapid onset severe pre-e with HELLP syndrome. He had a long NICU stay - but since home is where your heart is - I felt at home in the NICU after the first week. He's now four and doing great.
